TEHRAN – “We follow the culture of ability and action,” presidential candidate Ebrahim Raisi said on Wednesday.

Addressing a large gathering of his supporters in Mashhad, Raisi said he is out to solve economic problems.

Blaming smuggling as one of the major economic ails of the country, the former top judge said, “We have made research and have plans for this,” promising a tangible change in the first six months of his to-be government.
